Ted Glaser leads Summit Lawns, a $5 million residential landscape maintenance company serving nearly 4,000 clients in Lincoln, Nebraska. After graduating college in 2013, he built the company to $1 million doing mostly commercial maintenance, only to discover that rapid growth with the wrong customer base can create more strain than success. During a season defined by burnout, massive staff turnover, and financial strain, in 2017 he made the intentional choice to cancel more than $600,000 in commercial contracts and rebuild Summit around a focused residential model and a clearly defined ideal client.

That reset enabled Summit to grow quickly and sustainably, becoming the largest lawn care company in Lincoln within 5 years and now preparing for expansion into additional markets. Ted brings a practical, experience-driven perspective on customer fit, business model clarity, intentional workplace culture, and the long-term impact of choosing the right clients for your team and your future growth.
