From humble beginnings, Manny Gutierrez started mowing lawns out of the trunk of his wife’s college car, using a $60 mower he purchased at a yard sale. What began as a small side effort to make ends meet, quickly grew into a calling built on hard work, vision, and relentless determination. Today, Manny is a partner alongside his brother and rapidly growing into a thriving company with a bold vision for the future, Greenworks Landscaping & Maintenance, is based in the Tri-Cities area of Washington.

Since founding Greenworks in 2014, Manny has dedicated himself to building a company grounded in quality, craftsmanship and genuine care for the people it serves. Under his leadership, the business has expanded into multiple specialized divisions, including design-build, commercial maintenance, irrigation, and snow removal, All united by its core values: Teamwork, Honesty, Humility, Ambition, Professional Development, and Positivity.

As a leader, Manny is deeply passionate about developing people. He believes that focusing on people, processes, and systems creates an environment where team members feel empowered to lead, take initiative, and grow. At Greenworks, they like to say, “we’re in the people business” Manny’s greatest pride comes from watching team members step into leadership roles and help others do the same. With the implementation of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), Manny has fostered a culture of empowerment and accountability that continues to strengthen the entire organization.

Committed to ongoing growth, Manny participates in a National Industry specific Peer Group, where a network of business leaders exchange insights, share ideas, and challenge one another toward excellence. Locally, he is part of a mastermind group with several other CEOs, focusing on strategic planning, leadership, and self-development, both personally and professionally.

Beyond business, Manny is dedicated to giving back to his community. He serves as a commissioner for the Franklin County Planning Commission in Pasco, WA, and contributes his time and expertise to several local boards. These roles allow him to stay connected to regional growth initiatives while supporting the people who make the Tri-Cities a thriving place to live.
