Josh McMillan

President & CEO, Roebuck Landscaping

Josh McMillan is the President and CEO of Roebuck Landscaping, a company he has dedicated more than 30 years to building from the ground up. Beginning his career in the field, Josh worked his way through every level of the business, gaining hands on experience across operations, estimating, management, and executive leadership. His journey is one of grit, craftsmanship, and vision. What started as a small family-owned landscape business in Upstate South Carolina is now becoming one of the fastest growing landscape companies in the Southeast, with expanding commercial maintenance operations, a thriving construction division, and a growing multi state footprint.

Josh’s expertise spans the full scope of the green industry, including commercial landscape construction and maintenance, preconstruction and estimating, business development, financial discipline, labor efficiency, and long-term strategic planning. He has personally bid, built, managed, and delivered some of the region’s most notable and high-profile projects across the Upstate of South Carolina and throughout the Southeast.

Over the last two years, Josh has led Roebuck Landscaping into a new era of intentional growth and disciplined scale, completing the company’s first acquisition of The Greathouse Company in Nashville, developing new branch models, building leadership pipelines, and creating a roadmap to become one of the largest landscape companies in the Southeastern United States. What makes his leadership different is that he refuses to grow at the expense of people or purpose. Every decision is grounded in the company’s Core Values: Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, Determination, and Passion, and guided by his belief that culture, relationships, and quality work must never be sacrificed for speed or size.

A hands on and people first leader, Josh mentors future leaders, builds teams rooted in trust and accountability, and ensures financial discipline and culture advance together. His story is proof that a company can scale, expand across markets, and pursue acquisitions while staying true to its purpose, its people, and its identity!
